-Shipper / Receiver

Barchard Engineering is looking for a full-time shipper receiver to join our team. You will be working along side our head shipper as an assistant, as a team, and primarily individually. You will be responsible for receiving new product for inventory and back orders, receiving used product for service, packing and preparing new serviced products for shipping and maintain organization of the products and paperwork moving through the shipping department. Like most shipping receiving departments, you will need to be able to prioritize task orders, multi-task various jobs, and be flexible to re-order, pause, and restart tasks frequently as priorities change throughout the day.

Duties include forklift operation, manual lifting and moving of boxes and various parts, unloading shipments from trucks and trailers, unboxing, preparing workorders, organizing and maintaining a clean work space, packing, preparing shipping documents, scheduling pick-ups and drop-offs, interacting with customers in a manor that reflects well on the business, and various other tasks as they arise.

Applicants must

-Be able to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and repeatedly throughout the day, and able to safely lift up to 100 pounds on occasion.

-Be able to work in a team environment and individually as the need arises

Applicants should

-Have a Class 5 or better driver’s license and forklift safety course

-Have experience in shipping and receiving

-Be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office products including Excel
